THIN GRID
"Thin Grid" is a table designed for a contemporary art gallery. The table consists 118 aluminum members that are laser-cut from 1.5mm thick sheets. Aluminum members are assembled using halved joints to form its monolithic grid structure.
現代アートギャラリーのためのアルミのテーブル。3次元デジタルモデルから抽出された各部材のデータはレーザーカッターに入力され1.5㎜厚のアルミニウム板から部材が切り出された。118本のアルミ部材は格子状に組み上げられ一体的な構造を形成している。
